Gage's Story

Meet Gage

Gage is a sweet German Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever family! At his young age, he is full of puppy energy, curiosity, and love. Gage is looking for a family who will give him the patience, guidance, training, and affection he needs as he grows.

Gage would thrive in a loving home where he can become part of the family and continue learning what it means to be a happy, confident puppy. His new family should be prepared for the joys and challenges of puppyhood, including house training, basic obedience, socialization, and plenty of playtime. He is almost completely potty trained; staying on top of it is key. He knows "leave it", "wanna treat" and "sit". Takes treat gently and almost has playing ball and bringing it back down to a tee! He is learning on a leash, still a little unsure of people and other dogs on a walk, but everyday has been improving.

Most of all, Gage is looking for someone who will see his potential and commit to giving him a lifetime of love and stability. A foster-to-adopt home will give Gage the opportunity to settle in, build a bond with his new family, and begin growing into the wonderful companion he is meant to be.

If you're ready for puppy kisses, playful moments, a little mischief, and a whole lot of unconditional love, Gage may be the perfect addition to your family.

Gage is available as part of our Foster to Adopt Program - what this means is that his adoptive family (once approved through the adoption process), will act as his foster family until he is of age to be neutered and his puppy vaccinations are completed. Foster to Adopt families MUST be located within 1 hour driving distance of our location. This is because puppies will have several clinic visits for vaccination updates and our veterinary partners are all in the Raleigh, NC area.
