Gabriel's Story

Gabriel was rescued from the streets of Cancun, Mexico. Was socialized at a private shelter there, then came to the US. He is so sweet. He gets along with everybody. He was jumping on me at first but we have made a lot of progress there. He is well-behaved. He is perfect in the car. He listens (sort of) but will need some work. He does well on the leash (but needs some work). He is smart so he will quickly figure out what you want from him. He really is beautiful. We think he's about two. He will not get bigger but he may fatten up some. He's thin, built like a greyhound. I would recommend getting his DNA. Then let us know! He easily meets new people, meets new dogs with reservation. He's easygoing. He's crate trained. He adapted well to his new situation here at Lake Tahoe. When I leave, he goes in his crate, and also at night. Our adoption fee helps cover PART of our costs. We are a very small organization doing this out of the love of the dogs and a strong desire to help street dogs in Mexico. The situation there is dire.
