Gaara

Gaara had been picked up by a good Samaritan and never redeemed by his owners. He has had a difficult time adjusting to life at the dog pound (understandably) and took a while to warm up to the staff at the shelter. He just needed some time to decompress and now his true colors are showing through. With patience Gaara has started to blossom. He's a smart, sweet little guy. He is starting to play and crave affection from the staff. Gaara requires an adopter who will be patient with him. He would prefer to be the center of his adopters attention in a home without other pets. He may do well with another dog savvy canine but he has shown to be dog selective. It is unknown how Gaara is with cats and he's seeking a quiet home without kids.
