Frosty

Frosty is one of the smartest Eskies I have ever seen...and that is saying something! At a year old, his owners dumped this exhuberant boy in the Staten Island Center For Animal Care and Control for extreme "puppiness!" Frosty is extraordinarily friendly and playful...but in need of experienced "take charge" Eskie owners with a strong commitment to obedience training and even agility work. </p><br/><p><br/>We are making fast progress with such things as leash training, "sit/stay", "off" and crate training to alleviate some of the troublesome behaviors of excitable pups. Frosty would do extremely well with an active dog savvy family who have the time to commit to his training. We would consider families with kids over 5, but no cats. Frosty would be okay with some other dogs, but the dog/dog chemistry would have to be tested, and if the adoption is approved, adopters must be willing to be patient to work out dog/dog issues for at least two months.</p><br/><p><br/><br/>Frosty is a medium sized standard Eskie, weighing about 30 pounds, but a bit underweight. He is nearly housetrained, but adopters should expect to fine tune his potty habits to fit a new routine. His stance and coat are beautiful, and he has unique hazel eyes that are simply bewitching.<br/></p><br/><p><br/>Frosty is neutered, up to date on routine vaccinations, heartworm negative and on flea/tick prevention. <br/></p><br/>Eskies Online operates only in the North Eastern United States. We do not adopt our dogs beyond our driving territory.
