Froggy's Story

Froggie is a sweet, handsome Pit Bull who was adopted from Philly ACCT and then soon after surrendered to SRAS. He is around 50 pounds and stocky in stature. He loves going for walks and will melt your heart once he gets to know you. Froggie is great on leash, warm & affectionate with his people, and would benefit from training to keep his mind sharp. <br/><br/>This Philly boy is looking for an experienced owner-a single person or couple who can give him love, structure, and a fresh start.<br/>We are unsure how Froggie is with other dogs but a meet and greet would be required

Somerset Regional Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Interested in adopting a pet? Stop by the shelter during business hours to meet our available pets (no appointment needed). If you find your new BFF, you'll fill out an application and work with staff on next steps. You can also go to our website at www.srasnj.org/adoptions/ to fill out an application in advance. The app will be processed once you've selected a pet - we do not pre-process apps. Adoption requirements; - 18 yrs or older. - Provide a non-family reference. - Show proof of home ownership or if you rent, show proof that pets are permitted. - All family members must meet pet prior to adoption. - All pets in home must be up to date on vaccines. - If adopting a dog, a meet and greet with any resident dog(s) is required prior to adoption to ensure a good match. Please bring your leashed pup but keep them outside - introductions will be made in the shelter front yard. If you don't find a match when you visit, please know we bring in new pets regularly. Be sure to check back to make a homeless animal's - and your - dreams come true!
