Let us introduce you to our favorite southern gentleman, Fritz! This sweet tripod came into an overcrowded shelter as a stray where he was ultimately found on the EU list … left to die at no fault of his own.
You read that right, Fritz is a tripod and though he only has three legs, he gets around perfectly fine and loves a good game of fetch. He also enjoys having a job to do. Fritz is extremely smart and catches onto things quickly.
Fritz came to us heartworm positive but has since successfully completed treatment. Shortly after being rescued, it was discovered that Fritz has epilepsy. He is on medication and doing well since starting that.
Honestly, we know the odds are stacked against our sweet Fritz … he’s a tripod who has had heartworm and has epilepsy. But we are hoping a family can see past all that and understand that he is a normal dog who deserves his very own happily ever after.
Fritz is arriving to Wisconsin March 24 and we are now accepting applications for him.
