Frieda's Story
Say goodbye to the old, sad life sweetheart. Darling Frieda has been living at a red tagged home with another dog (who also joined us). The home is a rubble of glass, garbage, tires, feces, etc. It's set to be demolished and the dogs had nowhere to go. Our friends in Clearlake reached out for help with Frieda and a bunch more dogs in desperate need. We squeezed in 13 dogs from Lake County in one run and all but one are females, now no longer reproducing. While neutering males is important, there's always another male, so removing the females has more significant impact.

Frieda has the teeth of a younger dog, but her sweet sugar face, her eyes that have seen too much, and the fact that we know her microchip was implanted in 2019 puts her at least 6 years old and maybe even 7 or 8. The information on her chip is disconnected/no longer valid and she's believed to have been abandoned by the person the chip went to. She's around 20-25 pounds. Frieda longs to connect, but yet sure she's safe. We'll continue to work at building her trust.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
