This short, stocky boy was rescued just in time from euthanasia and has been thriving in foster care; already gaining about 8 pounds in the month rescued. <br/><br/>He's incredibly affectionate and lives for cuddles. If you're on the couch, he's right there with you. He has a playful, goofy side and loves a good game of tug and any toy he can de-fluff in record time. His Kong, though? That's his absolute favorite thing in the world.<br/><br/>He's fully potty trained and has done amazing with crate training. He may give you his signature, "I'm always watching you" face when you put him in, but he settles quickly and stays calm, even when left alone during the workday.<br/>He would do best with slow introductions to other dogs or possibly an only child as he can be a bit insecure, likely from being bullied in his previous home. He's already showing that he can build some confidence with the right guidance.<br/><br/>His leash manners are a work in progress, but he's not a heavy puller and is eager to learn. He does need gentle stomach-based food and has been doing exceptionally well on it! <br/><br/>Overall, he's a medium-energy dog who balances playtime with being your shadow and cuddle buddy.
