Freya's Story

Freya is a very loving and protective dog to her people. She was raised to hunt and feed her prey drive, so she would thrive in an environment with no other animals. She needs a lot of work, but she is a wonderful companion and favors women (though the right man might steal her heart)! She is incredibly smart and has picked up on "outside," "come," and waiting in her raised bed before eating her food. With some work and high energy activities, she would make a great running partner or hunting dog. It is recommended to muzzle in public places for her safety and the safety of other animals, but we have been carefully working other reactivity to other animals (we are still a long way from introducing her to any animals directly though).<br/>If you think you're a good fit for her, please come meet her at High Desert Humane Society Dog Rescue on 700 W Shelter Lane!
