Freya's Story

Freya is 3 years old and 53 pounds of pure love. She is a beautiful balance of maturity and playfulness. She has that steady, gentle presence in the home, but still brings fun and light wherever she goes.

Her foster shared that they feel truly blessed Freya came into their lives. She brought so much love just by being there. She adores their young son and loves her doggie foster brothers. Freya bonds hard and loves even harder. She truly thrives in a family environment and would love a home with children in her life.

Freya is extremely dog friendly and wonderful with young kids. She has a medium energy level and settles nicely in the home. She is crate trained, rides great in the car, and does well out in public. She is very smart, eager to please, and simply wants to be close to her people!

Bark About It Rescue's Adoption Policy
We utilize a foster to adopt process, whereby dogs are placed with a prospective family following the acceptance of their application including a vet reference check and a home check. If the foster period is successful, the adoption can be formalized with an adoption contract.
