Freya's Story
Meet Freya!

This gorgeous, loyal, smart, and loving German Shepherd is looking for her perfect match. She’s a 64-pound beauty who’s been vaccinated and spayed. Freya has heartworm disease, but she’s already had one round of the slow kill method and will need a second one in six months. This treatment in included in her adoption fee.

Freya is about six years old and is looking for her special someone. She’s a low-energy Shepherd who loves her walks, where she can explore and sniff out new smells. She’ll chase after squirrels occasionally, but she’s not one to give up easily. She prefers to lounge by your feet or just be where you are.

Freya is potty trained and has never had an accident indoors. She’s learned the routine quickly, just like a typical Shepherd. She’s not a food snob and loves all kinds of food, so she’s not interested in sharing. Because of this, she’d probably do better in a home with older children. Freya is learning how to take treats gently and has already learned to sit and stay to get her yummy treats. We’re just starting to see some playful side to Freya. With trust comes confidence to be silly. Freya is great with cats, but she’d probably be more successful as an only dog. She’s ready to give all the love and loyalty she has to offer. Are you her person?

If you are interested in this sweet girl please submit your application.
