Freedom

Meet Freedom!
This goofy Malinois/Hound mix has already overcome so much in his young life. At just 9 months old, he was nearly euthanized—but thankfully he was given a second chance and made his way to Nakoma Rescue. Now he’s ready to find his forever family!

Freedom is a happy, high-energy boy who loves to run, play, and wrestle with other dogs. He would thrive in a home with another playful pup or with a family who can make sure he gets plenty of doggy playdates. With his outgoing personality and love for adventure, he’d make an amazing hiking buddy, running partner, or travel companion.

He’s still young, so a little structure and routine will help him shine—but his affectionate heart, goofy spirit, and eagerness to please make him such a joy to be around.

If you’re looking for a fun, active, and loyal family dog who will fill your days with love and laughter, Freedom is waiting to meet you!

Adoption fee includes:

Vaccinations:
• Rabies
• Leptospirosis
• Distemper
• Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus
• Parvovirus
• Parainfluenza
• Lyme

Bloodwork:
• Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma

• Deworming
• Spay/Neuter
• Microchipping

Any additional veterinary treatment or care while in our program is also included. All known medical information is explained prior to adoption.

All of our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy, and a small bag of kibble.

At Nakoma Rescue, we put a lot of work, time, care, and love into each one of these dogs. They are treated like one of our own. We are open and transparent about the dogs in our care, and we want every adoption to be the right fit — for both the family and the dog.
