Freddy

Meet Freddy! He is a five year old hound mix who came to us from a hoarding case where he lived with over 20 dogs. Freddy is looking for a home without cats and one who understands that he is not too sure about visitors in the home, likely due to his past. At the shelter, Freddy loves to go for long hikes with volunteers, he likes to play fetch and run through the snow, and he likes to meet new people. However, once he goes into the home environment, he becomes nervous and uncertain about visitors in the home, but he loves his crate and can easily be crated when visitors come over! Freddy has also worked with a trainer for this behavior and this trainer will work with Freddy's new family as well to help him through the transition into the home environment! Freddy is a sweet, goofy boy who is looking for a family who will help him build his confidence and know that he is truly home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to add a lot of love to your life!
