Meet Fred
This hunky chunky brindle fellow is Fred, and we are SO happy to be able to play a part in his rescue journey! Fred was rescued from a shelter in TN by one of our fabulous foster families.
They report that he is a model citizen and will be a great fit for any home....young and active OR mature and a little more laid back.
He walks very nicely on leash, gets along great with other doggos, doesn't show much interest in kitties (but we always advise caution) and loves all the nice people that he meets. If you're ready to add a brindle boy to your home, hop on over to www.cprdogs.com for our online application.
Fred is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms, but has been fully treated with no complications. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling!
