Fred's Story
Fred was brought into Miami Animal Services as a stray on September 30th with a severely fractured left humerus. His leg was essentially snapped in half. He underwent surgery on October 7th, and we are so happy to share that he is now fully bearing weight on his leg and walking beautifully!

Fred, approximately 5 years old, has made an incredible recovery and is back to his happy, silly self. He is THE SWEETEST boy! He has shown zero aggression and is extremely submissive. He loves short walks, getting brushed, sunbathing, and rolling over for belly rubs.

His hair is starting to grow back and he does not shed. Fred does great resting in his crate during car rides as well as throughout the day/overnight .He is truly going to make an incredible companion.

We would LOVE to find Fred his forever home. Until then, he still needs a foster where he can safely continue recovering. If you can foster or adopt Fred, please apply today!

Adoption fee is $300 and includes a veterinarian visit, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and microchip lifetime registration.
