Hi I am Checkers. A female wheaton/poodle mix. I am looking for a family with a laid back and quiet home. I am pretty shy, but learning to come out of my shell in my foster home. I have never been in a real home before, so everything is new and scary. I am learning how to potty outside, enjoy pets, and learn what it means to be a household dog. So many of my years were spent neglected I am learning what love is. I would do best with another dog in the home to show me the ropes and give me the lead on how to navigate my new home.
