He has immediately made himself at home, and is so much more relaxed than being in the shelter. He’s 51 pounds and a sweet, but timid dog. A patient human and breed experience is preferred. Let’s help Freckles find that wonderful home! Needs an adult home, children 12+, due to his timid nature. <br/><br/>Dalmatians need: a low purine, high protein diet, with ample water (often add to food). Owners need to be mindful of food sensitivities. They thrive on human interaction and need mental and physical daily interactions. <br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
