Why Choose Me?<br/><br/>Update from Franny's foster home:<br/><br/>Franny is a joy to have with us! She is calm and loving and is perfectly content to just lay on the couch all day. She is very house trained and will go long hours without needing to go out. She loves a walk and to play tug a war and is great with large groups of people. She greets everyone with a smile and tail wagging, and loves to be pet. Franny is very smart - she knows sit, lay down, and even shake. She would prefer to be an only child dog, but every day she gets better at how to behave well on a walk whenever she sees another dog.<br/><br/>*************************<br/><br/>Franny is a nice dog who was happy to leave her kennel. I think she thought I was taking her home because after a trot around the interaction pen, she went to the gate and looked at me like she was waiting for me to take her home. Eventually, she accepted that wasn't happening and joined me in the shade. She relaxed at my feet enjoying some pets. Franny is a sweet girl, but I know she's missing her family. Sadly, she has heartworms, so if she's not reclaimed, she'll only be available for rescue, foster, or foster-to-adopt. After she's treated for heartworms, she'll also be available for adoption.
