Frannie's Story

Meet Frannie 🤍
(courtesy post)

Frannie is an absolutely stunning Shepherd–Husky mix who was abandoned in a park in Stockton, CA about five weeks ago along with four other dogs. One by one, the others were rescued—until Frannie was the last one left. She is now safe and in a temporary foster home.

When Frannie was first seen in the park, she appeared to be pregnant. Despite everything she’s endured, Frannie remains remarkably gentle, affectionate, and trusting.

Frannie is sweet, social, and people-friendly. She enjoys affection, wags her tail easily, and has a calm, docile presence—especially impressive given her background. She has done well with other dogs and was visibly relieved and happy to be reunited with her familiar companions.

Ideally, Frannie would love to be adopted with one or both of her friends from the park, whom she is currently fostered with. While we understand adopting three dogs is unlikely, we are hopeful that at least two can be adopted together, and that the third goes to a home with another friendly dog, as they clearly thrive with canine companionship.

Best Home:
A calm, patient home where Frannie can continue to feel safe and secure.
