Frannie's Story
Frannie is a 6 to 7-year-old pit bull terrier mix with an irresistible smile and a heart of gold. She weighs 40-45 pounds.

Frannie is with Northwest Animal Companions and is being fostered by one of our team members. Her name should be Mary Poppins, because she’s practically perfect in every way! Frannie is very gentle with the little dogs she is being fostered with, but also loves to play with bigger dogs. She will need to be tested with any bigger dogs in her forever home, as she is choosy. She would pair well with a smaller dog.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and her teeth look great for her age. Don’t let her frosty face fool you; She loves to run and has the energy of a younger dog. She is very food motivated (does that sound like any other breed you know?). This girl did well with the 10+ year old kids she met and was excited to see them! She would probably be ok with kids slightly younger than that.

Frannie has a prey drive and probably shouldn't be in a home with small animals or cats, but small dogs are ok (as long as they are friendly). She does love to chase squirrels and birds, etc.

This girl loves belly rubs, being outside, and peanut butter or cheese. She would be a great fit for lots of different homes, including: a family, an individual who would take her on lots of adventures, or a retired couple.

To be considered for Frannie, please apply on Northwest Animal Companion's website:

https://nwac-oregon.org/dog-application
