This is a courtesy posting. FRANKIE (female, blk n white) & JOHNNY (male, white n tan) are a bonded pair of youthful seniors looking for a loving forever home. Good with other dogs, cats, and kids!! Located in Kern County, CA. Here's their bio from their foster mom:<br/><br/>FRANKIE and JOHNNY are an adorable bonded pair of Pittie mixes. They are about 10 years old and are fixed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. They are also house broken, crate trained, leash trained, do great on car rides and LOVE other dogs, cats and kids! These two came to us in 2022 from a family that was taking them to the shelter to be euthanized due to their grandma (the owner) passing away who heavily abused these two. They were beat, given only table scraps(leftover from dinner) and locked in a room with over 10 cats for days on end. They were terrified of the world when they got out of that home, unsure of how to even act in fear that they would do the wrong thing. Throughout the years they have learned that its all in the past and they have thrived into being wonderful fur babies with amazing personalities! Johnny and Frankie have always shown gratitude and love despite all they have been through. They love to be included in everything from Movie night to even a walk to the mailbox. Frankie is more energetic while Johnny is a huge couch potato but they will do everything together which makes them the perfect pair! They have been together their whole lives and would benefit most by staying together.
