Frankie's Story

1. PLEASE NOTE: Breed mix info is the best guess of Bark Bark Wag and our vets. There is no way to know for certain what any dog's breed mix is without a DNA test; and most mixed-breed dogs may have 3, 4, 5 different breeds in their mix!

2. MUST READ --THE FIRST STEP: Go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process & apply to adopt! ANSWERS TO MOST QUESTIONS CAN BE FOUND HERE! We are all volunteers with limited time to respond to emails; if your question involves something NOT addressed at "Let's Get Started!", we will respond ASAP!

*WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS*

PLEASE NOTE:
Frankie and Rylee will be able to go home to their respective forever families in 2 weeks, when they are 9 weeks old, around 12/19! Please don't ask if you can give a pup as a Christmas gift -- we do not believe in this. Christmas is a stressful time for families and pets, and bringing in a dog/pup at this time is traumatic and anxiety-provoking for the new addition!

Frankie is a handsome little guy -- just 7 wks. old as of 12/7/19, a fluffy 4 1/2 lbs., and he's an Aussie/Cattle Dog mix! He and his brother Rylee were born to Bark Bark Wag's Raven, who is the sweetest girl ever (photo included). Frankie is the more adventurous pup of the two, and he pushes his brother around a bit -- but he also loves to play and puppy pile together! He is already learning about crate-training, along with all the sights and sounds in his foster home... Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend puppy manners classes with their new pup! IMPORTANT: Frankie and Rylee are a mix of herding breeds -- herding dogs, also classified as working dogs, share characteristics and physical traits, such as agility, speed and loyalty. Overall, they are smart, happy, energetic and athletic animals that need to be active. These intelligent dogs make excellent companions and respond beautifully to training exercises, making them an excellent choice for active individuals and families. Please read up on the breed mix before applying for one of these little guys -- they are active and energetic, and need a family who will give them opportunities to learn and a "job" to do!
