Frankie's Story

Frankie was suffering from neglect, but has come so far. She is super friendly, young and full of energy. She is ready for her furever home. On the downside, Frankie lacks manners and still is very jumpy and mouthy. Typical of a puppy that was taken from their mother to young. A definite sign of backyard breeding :-( She would do well with some obedience training, which the organization would be happy to help pay for. She is not completely house trained, but I believe would learn fairly quickly in a structured environment where she is being taken out regularly and proper training techniques are used. When she gets scared she does pee a little. Of course that's from the neglect that she suffered. Hopefully over time that would improve, as it has here. For these reasons we are recommending an experienced handler, and no children under 12.

K9 Rescue and Sanctuary Inc's Adoption Policy
To adopt through our rescue is a process. It involves the following: 1. Completing an online application. This does not obligate you to adopt a dog. I review all applications received and pick the best fit. I'm not always able to respond to every application. You are welcome to message our Facebook page or email me to follow up on the status of your application. https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/53440/generic 2. Participating in a video interview. Please send me a friend's request on my personal page so that we can do this via Messenger ? https://www.facebook.com/jenna.crowley.1?mibextid=ZbWKwL 3. Meet and greet here, in the adopters home, or at a park or other acceptable location (this is a good time to introduce the possible new addition to any existing dogs already in the home and young children if applicable). Meet and greet will always take place at the adopters home unless there are extenuating circumstances such as distance. NOTE: Current pets must be spayed and/or neutered, and up to date on rabies and core vaccines (unless a medical condition applies).
