Frankie's Story

Frankie needs a family. Please read entire description. If interested in Frankie, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $100.

This 5.5 year old boy found his world turned upside down at the beginning of March when his owner unexpectedly passed away. He has since been in boarding with the lovely staff at the Dog House who are giving him extra love until we can find a place for him to go.

Frankie is friendly, well behaved, knows some commands, and is crate trained and potty trained. Frankie does his job and barks when people come to the door and of course when the mail man delivers the mail. For the past couple of years, Frankie has gotten used to a fenced yard. Before this, he did great in an apartment setting and loves his leashed walks.

Frankie has no experience with small children. Frankie has never lived or co-existed with other dogs or cats. He's been a solo pet and was a Covid puppy adopted at around 6 months of age in the summer of 2020. He has always had an owner that worked from home, but is trustworthy when left alone.

Frankie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. We know that Frankie's new person is out there! If interested in adopting or even opening your home to fostering, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $100.
