He thrives when someone is home most of the day, offering reassurance, routine, and a sense of safety.<br/><br/>Trauma-Informed Patience<br/>He is still afraid of many things. Sudden noises and changes overwhelm him. He needs calm, gentle handling and a foster who will move at his pace.<br/><br/>Limited or No Stairs (Essential)<br/>To prevent additional pain and protect his curved spine, he must live in a home with limited or no stairs.<br/><br/>Routine & Adjustment Time<br/>Transitioning into a new environment takes time. Establishing a predictable daily routine — whether he’s free-roaming or crated — will help him settle.<br/><br/>Potty Habits<br/>He uses pee pads reliably and will also go outside. Consistency helps him feel confident.<br/><br/>Good with Other Animals<br/>He loves other pets and finds comfort in their presence.
