Frankie's Story

Frankie, our tiniest little neurologic kiddo is ready to start looking for a family! This perfect little pumpkin doesn’t walk like a normal dog, but that doesn’t stop him from living a normal life!. Frankie was seen by a Neurologist where it was determined that he had neuro dysfunction beginning in his cerebellum, he presents as a dog with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Whether his condition was something he was born with, or a physical trauma in his very early days of life, we won’t ever know.... we do know that he is a healthy little boy...he just walks a little funny. Even though he is a little wobbly, don't let him fool you, he can absolutely run a straight line and he loves having puppy zoomies! Frankie loves his people, he loves crinkle toys, he loves cats and he loves other dogs. Frankie LOVES to LOVE!

Frankie would love a canine companion of a similar size to wrestle and play with, he loves being around cats and would be a great puppy for a home with older children (12+) that can navigate his wobbly walk safely. He needs a home with very minimal stairs or where stairs can be avoided completely, and he’ll never be a boy who can be expected to navigate jumping on or off a couch, he’s just not coordinated enough for that. (Although he’d love night time couch cuddles if his exit were well managed with stairs). Frankie’s most favorite moments are running in a yard, fast and free. We would love to place him in a house with a fenced yard that he has easy access to so he can enjoy his favorite pastime often.

For this little bitty nugget, we hope to find him happily ever after soon. He was given away for free online due to his neuro impairment and we are so grateful he found his way to PACK. He’s very special and we know a family will be so lucky to have him join their clan.
