Frankie's Story

Frankie- World Class Cuddler

If you are looking for your shadow, look no further than Frankie! He loves his people and wont leave you alone for long.

Frankie loves walks. Hes still working on his leash skills but improving every day. His nose carries him and hes curious about all the smells. Hes very unsure of deer.

Frankie may be dog selective. Hes doing great with a dog his size but was very unsure of a small dog. With slow introductions hes done well. Unsure of cats in same space, but hes mostly ignored the barn cats running around

Frankie loves food. He loves apples and is happy to clean up the yard of apple tree droppings. He takes treats gently and is very treat motivated during training. He does eat separately so he doesnt steal the other dogs food. He may have a chicken allergy, so currently on salmon based food and no chicken treats to help his itchy feet.

Frankie is a smart boy. Hes learning quickly important skills such as sit, stay, and recall. He gets very excited when his humans walk through the door. Hes working hard on being calm and not jumping on people.

Frankie would rather sleep next to his humans in bed but with redirection he is sleeping great in his own bed on the floor.

Frankie is not a fan of his crate but working on making it a safe space for some quiet time. He likes his lick mats when in there. He will willingly go when told kennel, waiting for a yummy treat.

Frankie just recently started showing interest in toys. He will chase after a ball but will not bring it back yet.

Frankie is house trained and can be left out of a crate when leaving the house, as long as hes had exercise.
