Frankie's Story

Meet Frankie! This girl was at the shelter with a pretty bad injurt to her front right paw. The shelter ended up amputating her leg before we could save her but she is healing well and hasn't let her amputation slow her down. But when meeting new dogs Frizzle can be a little stand offish. We will be working with our trainer to help her trust again. She just completed a week long boot camp with our friend Jesus @pawsitivehealingLA who helped her socialize with other dogs but we do think she would prefer a quiet home being the queen of her castle. Or living with a well balanced dog who will give her space

She lives with children but we do recommend no one under 14 in the home as she can be nervous around new kids. She is crate and house trained! We estimate her to be about 2 year old and a pit x cattle dog mix. Frizzle is about 30lbs and full grown!

If you feel your home is a good place for Frankie to decompress and learn to trust again, She is very loving an affectionate and very sweet and is looking to find her human(s)! Please consider adopting Frankie!

From her foster <3

She is so smart and will be someone’s soul dog - she is so chill in her little bubble with people/ animals she is comfortable with. New things can be stressful for her and she likes her space until she is comfortable. Very treat motivated and wants to please. She still tires easily so just a couple short walks a day plus a couple 5-10 min obedience sessions to work her mind are all she needs. She walks very well on leash - just can’t do on leash greetings with other dogs but can pass by them peacefully (as long as they aren’t lunging/ going crazy at her). Does very well in her crate!!
