If you're looking for a relaxed, polite, affectionate, well-mannered companion, Frank may just be your guy.<br/>Frank was originally adopted from a local shelter five years ago, but recently found himself back in need of a home when his owner experienced a major life change. When one of CARE's foster families reached out about the possibility of bringing Frank into their home, we knew we had to help him. Thankfully, Frank has made the transition to foster life look easy.<br/>He settled into his foster home almost immediately and has been an absolute gentleman. Frank is fully house-trained, has had zero accidents, and can be left home all day with his foster siblings without chewing, destroying, or getting into trouble. He is also dog-friendly and cat-friendly, making him an easygoing addition to a variety of homes.<br/>Frank knows how to sit and shake, and he's eager to please. He has wonderful house manners, too. He won't beg for your food, and although he absolutely loves being invited onto the furniture, he'll wait for your invitation before hopping up. Once he's been given the okay, though, he's more than happy to sprawl out on the couch or bed and soak up all the love and attention you can give him.<br/>And if you're busy? Frank is perfectly content to curl up on his dog bed with a good bone and relax. He's not looking for constant entertainment-he's simply happy to be near his people and be part of a family.<br/>Frank is affectionate without being demanding, playful without being chaotic, and loving without being overwhelming. His adoption fee is $300.<br/><br/>CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption.
