Frank *Adopt or Foster*'s Story
Foster Homes Needed!

Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog?

http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html

*****************

Frank's temporary foster parents say that he is the most loving and sweet hound, kind and willing to please. He is fearful of many things but has overcome a lot in his 3 months in foster. He was initially terrified by a TV screen, but within a week, snuggled on the couch to watch the news or popcorn and a movie. He didn't know what a dog bed was, but after coaxing, realized that it was a pretty nice place! He was at first shy, but quickly warmed and so gentle to 3 young grandsons, trying to lie in their laps. He is not food aggressive and waits patiently for his breakfast and dinner and does not counter-surf. Very much enjoys car rides. He is, however, still fearful of many things outside, like heavy winds, loud trucks or other unexpected noises or situations. Otherwise, he has learned to walk nicely on a leash, absent any startling surprises. Frank needs a calm, steady hand to help him conquer his fears. He has come so far and will be a great dog to the right family. His favorite pastime is napping on the couch, and then napping some more. Frank would do well in a home with another dog to give him confidence.

**BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA**

We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org.

Upcoming adoption events:

Saturday Dec 6th 12 - 3 pm Weber's Pet Supermarket; 11135 Lee Highway; Fairfax

Saturday Dec 13th 12 - 3 pm Weber's Pet Supermarket; 2280-C Hunters Wood Plaza; Reston

Saturday Jan 3rd 12 - 3 pm Weber's Pet supermarket; 11135 Lee Highway; Fairfax

Saturday Jan 10th 12 - 3 pm Weber's Pet Supermarket; 2280-C Hunters Wood Plaza;Reston

We are always desperate for foster homes, now more than ever.
