Frank's Story

NOTE: Frank is an anxious little guy that will need guidance and patience. He is very smart and is learning some basic commands. Frank is catching on quickly. Frank would be best in a mellow home that will provide comfort and security to Frank. He's a fun, quirky dog that just needs some extra attention. Frank is the most loyal, loving dog who becomes attached to people very quickly. He does get a long with dogs his own size.

Hi! I'm Frank. I'm 5-years-old. I'm a long Dachshund but I am taller than my the other Dachshunds at my foster home. My height makes me agile and fast to chase squirrels and that's one of my favorite things to do.

I get along great with other dogs but I prefer dogs my own size. Big dogs move too fast and sometimes I try to boss my Lab foster brother around if he gets too crazy.

I am very loyal to my humans. I get so excited when they come home from work that I squeal. I also love to squeal when I run outside because I love to run and play. I know I'm supposed to potty outside but sometimes I need to go before my foster family gets home to let me out so I use a piddle pad.

I can jump really high so I like to get up on top of furniture. I found out that my foster parents don't like me to get up on the table though. They moved the chairs so now I can't get up there any more. I guess there's nothing up there for me anyway.

I'm excited to find my forever home. I'd love to find someone who would like to sit by me. I tend to fall in love very quickly with certain humans. I become very attached quickly. So, I'm hoping to find someone who wants to give me some one-on-one attention because I love pets and I love to cuddle. My adoption fee is $300. You can find out more details about me by emailing my foster parents chrissaandtravis@hotmail.com. I can't wait to meet you!!!
