One look into this handsome boy’s eyes will tell you he is a gentle old soul for his young age. He is very sweet, loving, and obedient, and he plays well with his foster family dog and never plays rough. And he is sweet and gentle with the cat! He is toy centric and chews a lot, so he needs lots of strong bones and chew toys. And though he likes to play, he loves even more to sit in laps or snuggle on the couch with you under a blanket. He will follow you everywhere and does not like being alone. He walks well on a leash (harness only – no collar) and doesn’t pull – that’s a bonus given his strong physique.<br/> <br/>Franco is learning to be kennel trained at night and doing well although he doesn’t like to be in it. He will go to bed quietly but he does wake up very early to get up and go outside. Lots of fluffy blankets help. He is normally a very quiet dog and rarely barks unless he wants out of the kennel then he is very loud. He is also very patient and sits still when being groomed.<br/> <br/>He eats well and his favorite snacks are blueberries, apples, and bananas with a dollop of plain yogurt; and carrots, asparagus, and spinach. He is potty trained and understands “potty outside” but he can poop three to four times per day so he needs frequent outside breaks.<br/> <br/>Look at this little guy’s face and you’re hooked - he deserves the best of the best of everything but the joy he delivers is your reward.
