Foxy's Story
Meet Foxy! This 3 year old 9lb, 3 legged little girl is getting SO used to the good life!
Her former family used her to breed once (her puppies are all adopted in TX!) and unfortunately her leg got caught in her playpen. The family couldnt afford to take her to the ER, so they made a homemade bandage and hoped for the best...
Well... sadly the leg tissue became necrotic, so the vet recommended an amputation to save her sweet and darling little life.
She gets along great and is a happy and healthy little girl looking for her forever family!

Her foster mom says:
"Meet Foxtrot (Foxy for short)!
I’ve been fostering her and she is acclimating well to me and my Pom.
Foxy is a tripawd but that does not hold her back one bit.
She is very affectionate and will hop on your lap/chest for cuddles.
She walks well on a leash - she will look back at you for reassurance and to keep the walking pace.
She’s getting used to city sounds every day!
Foxy prefers to sleep in bed with you but also likes a good donut bed she can snooze in during the day."

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Foxy, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
