Foxy and Luna

REQUIREMENTS - Must have secure fenced yard. Luna and Foxy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. He’s a big cuddler and would happily accept pets from everyone he meets. When someone comes to the door, he may bark at first, but he settles quickly, especially once he realizes there are hands ready to pet him. Foxy sleeps in his own bed but loves having a blanket to snuggle under. If he feels uncovered and chilly, he may sneak into bed with you to warm up. Foxy loves toys, though he tends to destroy them, so durable toys are best for him. Foxy can be a door dasher, so he’ll need an adopter who is mindful when opening doors. He gets along great with other dogs and loves playing chase, especially with his sister Luna. He enjoys being outside, though unfamiliar noises can make him bark. He just needs reassurance to know he’s safe. Foxy has not been exposed to many things prior to foster care, but he is learning and improving every day. He does not use a crate, walks well on a leash, and absolutely loves car rides. Foxy gives you signs when he needs to go to the bathroom, and is well trained. He has not been exposed to children or cats.<br/><br/>Luna (Chihuahua) is a sweet, gentle girl with a loving heart. She can be vocal, especially in apartment settings, but with time and reassurance, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. She adores cuddles and loves giving kisses. At night, she sleeps in her own bed but may hop into yours for comfort. Luna enjoys running outside with her brother Foxy, and the two love to chase each other. When visitors arrive, Luna may bark initially, but she settles once they come inside and sit down. She especially loves sleeping under blankets! Luna is great with other dogs. She has not been exposed to children or cats. Her teeth needed care when she first arrived, but they’ve improved significantly with chewing chicken strips, carrots, cucumbers, and other crunchy snacks to help remove tartar. She walks well on a leash, loves car rides, does not use a crate, and has had no accidents in the house. <br/><br/>Foxy and Luna are a bonded pair and in search of a home where they can play together for the rest of their lives. They would do well with a patient and loving adopter who gives them the love they need to settle into their furever home. They are such sweethearts!
