Foxy's Story

Foxy was a stray that was never claimed and is now up for adoption. She is a sweet girl that loves to play fetch and will do just about anything for a treat and some pets. Foxy has displayed some resource guarding and is not fond of people touching her face/mouth. Since she was a stray we do not know her background and what may have caused these issues. She will need to go to a home with experience with dogs that have behavioral issues and to a house with no children. We have had her in our doggy daycare and unfortunately she does not do well with other dogs. She has briefly been around cats and seems timid around them, but otherwise didn’t bother them. With her unpredictable behavior she would be best in a home with no other dogs, cats or kids.

All of our animals are cared for and examined by our veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. To inquire about any of our animals please e-mail us at rescuedheartanimalhospital@ymail.com or click on the link. Provide the name of the animal that you are interested in and your preferred contact information. We will then send you an adoption application and/or set up a time for you to stop in and meet Foxy to ensure that she's the right dog for you.
