Fox's Story

Meet Fox – The sweetest cattle dog ever! He is about 40 pounds and somewhere between 1 and 2 years old. He certainly looks like a pure bred Australian Cattle Dog. He is an energetic dog who loves to play with other dogs. He is learning to play with humans. He loves to run, wrestle and snuggle next to a human. He is learning so much each day. He has already learned to sit for a treat and to come when called (usually). He is mostly housebroken, but has some accidents. He has been walking around town and did well with strange dogs and strange humans.

He sleeps all night with no messes. He is not good with cats, but he could probably be taught. He does not seem to want to harm them, he is just very curious, very fast and big. He also likes to chase squirrels. He has won over the hearts of both adults and children. He would be loyal to you until his dying day. Cattle dogs are high energy dogs who know they are equal members of the family. He would be a great running/hiking buddy. He would not be happy being left in a yard by himself. He would love to have a dog sibling. He was found as a stray in Georgia. He is up to date on his immunizations, has tested negative for heartworms, has been neutered and been on flea and tick medicine as well as heartworm preventative.

He is being fostered in Maine.
