In the shelter they used him as the new dog tester since he's such a good boy. We're not sure about children or cats yet. Fox has a very gentle nature. He might be a little energetic for young children though and in play can be slightly mouthy. He had hematomas in his ears that left his ears a little crinkly but that only adds to his charm. He currently is on medication for the ears and has a follow up in 2 weeks. Fox could lose a few pounds but he is a big shepherd with a big shepherd bark and a beautiful coat.
