The chain was partially embedded in her neck and had to be removed w/ bolt cutters. No water. No shelter. Despite her horrible past Stella is blossoming w/ the love and care of shelter volunteers. She desperately needs a forever home. <br/> <br/>Meet STELLA! This pretty girl with a shy smile is something special. She is super sweet, affectionate, loving, a Bonafide cuddler and gives sweet kisses! She is playful and silly. <br/><br/>Stella is dog-friendly. She has participated in shelter playgroups and can play gently or rough/rowdy to match another dog’s play style and has been dubbed a playgroup “Rock Star”!! If excited in play tends to jump so no small children or frail adults, please. She walks nicely on leash most of the time (leash training in progress), is treat motivated, has a gentle mouth and is attentive.<br/><br/>Because Stella is black and shy, she fades into her shelter kennel and has been overlooked.
