Duffy's Friends needs foster homes for dogs and puppies! We provide everything that you will need to foster - food, crate, leash, collar and flea/tick/heartworm prevention! You provide the love and the care while we find the dog (or occasional cat) the wonderful home it deserves.

Without people like you we could not continue to help these deserving animals. We would love to speak with you about fostering so please send us a note at duffysfriends@gmail.com.

We have a foster to adopt program but you must apply to adopt so we may qualify the home. Otherwise, we discourage our foster homes from adopting the pet they are watching. So if you think you may want to adopt the pet, please let us know that you are a 'foster to adopt' situation.

You can check our adoption criteria on our site. For instance, with our small dogs we request that all children in the home be over 12 years of age. We look for homes that have fenced in yards. We can not adopt to those in apartments or condo's - the potential owner must be a home owner and have a history of owning a pet in her or his name.
