Foster Glacier's Story

Foster Home Needed – Meet Glacier!

Glacier is a three-year-old Husky/Pit mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. He is 48lbs. This handsome boy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to settle into a loving foster home while he prepares for his forever family. He is also crate trained.

Glacier recently made the trip from Mississippi after spending many months in a shelter, and he’s already showing everyone what an affectionate guy he is. He can be shy at first. He does great with other dogs and enjoys companionship, but he would do best in a cat-free home.

Glacier has tested heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment. During this time, he’ll need a calm environment with minimal activity so he can safely recover. A quiet, stable foster home will make all the difference in helping him heal and decompress after shelter life. ❤️

The rescue will cover all of Glacier’s needs, including:
• Crate
• Dog food
• Heartworm treatment & medications
• Flea/tick & heartworm prevention
• Leash and collar
• Veterinary care

All we ask is that you provide a loving, stable home for Glacier while he completes treatment and gets ready for adoption. Once he’s ready, foster families get first choice to adopt. If you decide not to adopt, we’ll handle posting him and scheduling meet-and-greets.

Please apply to foster at rescuedrascalsil.org.
