Fospice Birdie (KS)

When she was no longer of use for breeding she was turned over to a shelter. She came to PRO in September of 2022. Her foster home learned that Birdie loves playing with tennis balls and going for walks. Birdie doesn't like cold weather, but she loves to bask in the sun in her yard in the summer months. Unfortunately, Birdie was recently diagnosed with inoperable mammary tumors and has been moved to PRO fospice care. Fospice care is when a dog is not adoptable due to an incurable medical condition, and will permanently stay in foster care until it's time to cross the rainbow bridge. Birdie is so very loved in her fospice home and will continue to get the best care for the rest of her days.<br/><br/>Fospice dogs can require a lot of vet care.
