Please meet beautiful Fortuna! This 9 year old girl has got a whole lot of character! Starting from her unique “scruffy” look and a charming smile to an inquisitive nature, Fortuna is a good fit for any family. Once you get to know her better, you will find a happy and playful girl who desperately seeks your attention and love! Fortuna does good with other non-dominant calm older dogs, but will chase cats for fun. She CANNOT be together with young, active puppies, she is just so scared of them. And there is a reason behind that - Fortuna is a pure breed Bedlington Terrier - quite rare - and for all her life she has been used as a "dog birth machine" to produce dog champions. When her body got exhausted and she couldn't produce any more, she was dropped at a shelter. Another example of people's cruelty and betrayal...Fortuna is a medium energy level dog who will need two good walks (60 active minutes a day). She is not interested in toys or playing with other dogs, she just wants to be as close to a person as possible. She is house-broken, but may have accidents, but she knows pads well. Fortuna is healthy, up to date with shots, spayed and microchipped. She weighs 22lbs and is 11.8” tall at the shoulders.
