Forest's Story
Meet Forest!

Forest is a fun-loving terrier mix who survived some cold, rainy days near Forest (hence the name) and Audelia with an entire neighborhood invested in saving him. In his foster home, he enjoys playing with all types of toys and loves to be close to his humans.

He’s approximately 2 years old and a smaller dog at a modest 25 pounds. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and has mastered the use of a dog door. He can perform basic commands like sit, lie down, and enter his crate for a treat. House training is nearly perfected, with accidents being rare.

Forest hasn’t spent time with cats or kids, but it’s recommended that he be the only furry companion for a loving family. He is friendly to visitors and loves to be outside. His leash skills are improving, and he will thrive in an active household that appreciates his enthusiasm for chasing birds, squirrels, and balls.

Forest isn't just playful; he also enjoys quiet moments, resting his head on your lap or shoulder, and is peaceful throughout the night. His endearing puppy eyes and head tilts when spoken to are sure to melt hearts.

He serves as a good work-from-home companion who spends most of the workday going in and out, sleeping near his foster mom’s feet, and confining his barking to squirrels that dare get close to the window.

Loyal, playful, and affectionate, Forest is ready to bring much joy to the family that welcomes him into their home and heart.
