Meet FOREST

Forest is a lively little young adult. He can jump very high and he has tons of energy. He can be a real cuddle buddy. We do not know his history concerning other animals and kids but feel he would be great with kids 4+. He would probably do well with a female dog of similar size and age. He is UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative and scheduled to be neutered on July 25 but we are hoping to get him in sooner. He is our only small breed dog among a shelter of large dogs. We are very anxious to get him out of the shelter. He seems to be crate trained, but I would hope he would not have to spend a lot of time in a crate. He does great on a leash walking. He listens well and knows some commands. He can be a little snarky over food. He does very well with not soiling his kennel. We are not sure of his lineage but his coat is very similar to a Yorkie, we do know he is a mix. We have learned that he is not good with cats.
