FORD's Story

Ford was a stray nearly his entire life fending for himself on the streets of Tulsa, We trapped him and he hurt himself pretty bad trying to escape the trap. He was emaciated, missing a ton of fur, heartworm positive, severely scarred head to toe and reactive to new people. Ford has been with us for over 2 years now and he's a very very happy dog and we are committed to keeping him as a sanctuary dog if a home doesn't ever fit his needs. He is extremely well behaved, very easy to handle and just requires a human of his own to hug and love him. Until then, we would love support for his ongoing care. he has been neutered, microchipped, heartworm treated, and vaccinated. We are accepting single pet home applications for him at mercysakes2ndchancerescue.com and his adoption fee would be sponsored to a good fitting home. Ford has never bitten anyone but he can be very loud and scary in his kennel or behind a fence if he doesn't know you. I dont believe he would harm a soul however. It is just the only life he's ever known.
we accept donations on the following platforms
paypal.me/mercysakes
venmo @mercysakesrescue
cashapp $mercysakesrescue
direct to our vet at catoosa small animal hospital under mercy sakes - 918-266-4090
or via mail to :
mercy haven
1219 s memorial dr
tulsa ok 74112
