Fonzie

Sweet Fonzie is a 10-year-old male Pointer/Hound mix and weighs about 80 pounds. He is potty-trained, does great in his kennel, sleeps through the night and can generally be trusted on his own in the house (even though he hasn’t been left alone for too, too long yet in his foster home). Fonzie’s favorite things are cuddling, snacks, sniffing and being the best boy!! He gets along with dogs and cats – and loves to play chase, and he loves people of all shapes and sizes. <br/>In addition to being top-notch cuddlers, Fonzie’s new family will need to have a fenced yard, OR have a strong person to take him on walks because he’s quite strong and wants to pull towards awesome sniffies and other playful pups. He will need continued work on this so he can be a more polite walking buddy. Fonz is very food-motivated which will help with his continued training. He already knows several commands, including sit, paw, here, and down – and has learned "in" to go to his kennel when its meal time. Fonzie is proving to be a super smart pup and will thrive with a family who will continue to keep his mind occupied and teach him new things – can cuddle with him a lot.
