Fluffy's Story

I know this girl is funny looking to be in a rottweiler rescue. She was found wandering in the streets on Glendale near the stadium with another dog (precious) by a Good Samaritan. He tried taking the girls home to live with him and his 27 cats. It turns out she is not good with cats so he could not keep them with him. She is terrified of everything but a very sweet girl. She will let you do anything to her but would prefer to be in her crate and left alone. She is neutral with other dogs. Doesn't seem to take confort ain them as isn't afraid of them . She minds her own business, and doesn't really engage with them. She as been leash trained and she will go through te motions of getting obedience trained. She is potty and crate trained. She will bolt if she has the opportunity. I took her in so she would not hurt te guys cats with the intent to find a rescue to take her in, because she is not a rottweiler and doesn't fit in here. However nobody has room for her or wants to take on a scared dog. I know that scared dogs are the kind of dogs that some people do best with. If you are that person, we would love to talk with you.

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.

please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
