Flower's Story
7/22/25 Flower was a great guest on the family vacation. She did great in the very long car drive, potty stops, and was adored by everyone she met. She was gentle with everyone of all ages (even a child who was a very "in her face" before I asked them to move back). She did not like the rainy days because she did not get her walk time, but she did great with fourth of July fireworks and loud thunder by sleeping right through it. She also did great in some doggy spa days to get mud off! Flower would do great in a family environment as she has a great balance of play and chill.

5/25/25 Flower has made some amazing progress on her leash training, we have been able to walk around the neighborhood with minimal pulling! Walks are her favorite time of the day, and I think with more training she could even go on runs. She is very active and loves being outside. She is also becoming more interested in toys, her favorite is her duck with the squeaker! She is the perfect balance of active and couch potato. She loves to make new friends and she would love to meet you!

From Lynn M. - I have had Flower as a temp foster for 6 days. She is a beautiful shiny black lab and a sweetheart. In the short time I have had her, she has learned the pet door, knows sit, wait and loves.. to ride in the car. She sleeps in her open crate all night, loves to be in the back yard watching birds and fetching the ball. She loves people and to CUDDLE and her comfy dog bed!!! She comes when called. We walked up to 2 miles per day and worked on her pulling on the leash. She gets very excited but does calm a bit after getting some energy out. She is dog reactive, but not dog aggressive. She does not bark when someone comes to the door!!! We have truly enjoyed having her as a foster pup and love her!!!!

4/21/2025 Flower is such a good girl in the house! She politely greeted guests and has been quiet in her crate. Her leash training is coming along well, and are hoping to be street ready soon. Everyone seems to enjoy meeting her and she enjoys being around people. She is super goofy when she plays ball and loves to run around. Her favorite is chasing all the squirrels and birds in the back yard. She still has lots of energy so she enjoys training and I think with more leash progress would be a good companion on hikes.

4/11/2025 I have had Flower for about 3 weeks and I could not imagine a sweeter pup. She is incredibly friendly and cuddly. She even gives a few little kisses sometimes! She loves playing ball outside, rolling in the grass, and being wherever you are. She is great in the house with no barking, no jumping on guests or counters, and no chewing on anything except her toys. She will need leash training, but she is a good learner. She would be a wonderful addition to any family!
