Flossy's Story

Wiggle ain't met wiggle until it meets Flossy! Cause this little girl never stops with the tail swinging and butt wiggling from the minute she sees you until the minute she goes to sleep.
Flossy is a simply adorable hound mix young adult who weighs about 30 lbs now with perhaps a little more to grow. She has never met a stranger and is ready to win over everyone she comes into contact with, not much extra effort required. Flossy has already made lots of doggo friends, no surprise there, and could settle into most any home. This is a young girl who likes to be on the go, walk, play, do it all, and is still small enough to curl up in your lap when it's time to settle down. Flossy will prove that she can slip right in between your heart and your soul (forget the teeth) and win you over!
*Sleepover feedback: "This couch-loving sweetheart is gentle, curious, and full of potential. She was great with my 9 and 12 year old kids. She loves to play. Squeaky toys are a fav! She's been politely interested in our cats-and has already made great progress in just two days. She's still learning house manners but she's catching on quickly with crate and leash training. With consistency, patience, and lots of love, she's going to make an amazing companion".

Weekend Host feedback: "We loved hosting miss Flossy for the weekend, she stole our hearts! Flossy was a little shy at first but warmed up quickly and started to show her sweet personality. We took her on lots of walks, cuddled, and sat outside at a brewery, we quickly learned how much she LOVES people and kids. She did very good interacting with strangers and other dogs. Flossy was a little nervous in the car but made a lot of progress throughout the weekend. Overall she walked great on a leash and listened well, she just needs a little bit of potty training. We truly enjoyed our weekend with her (she made it hard to give her back) and she will make a wonderful addition to any family! "

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
