Flora Kai

Flora Kai is a 2 year female terrier mix that weighs 7 pounds. She is one of the terriers in our program right now who are never going to be social butterflies, but would still make wonderful companions in a quiet household. She simply was never exposed to much of anything in the world in her younger years. With the right handling, Flora has adjusted in her foster home and does well with the folks she has learned to trust. She hasn't been around young kids and we would like to keep her in a home without kids simply because they can be loud and sometimes unpredictable, which would be too much for this little girl. While she is working on making bigger appearances in the world, there’s a real solid chance Flora is never going to be the dog that you take to the coffee shop or a street festival- And we know there are plenty of great homes out there that are okay with that. <br/>Flora is a sweet and bubbly girl who loves other small breed dogs and even plays with the cat in her foster home! She is potty trained, crate trained and working on her leash training skills. Flora would love to share her love with another small confident dog in a quieter home environment. She has a lot of love to give!<br/><br/>Flora is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you wish to make towards our medical costs.<br/>All dogs adopted locally through SGDR Receive a free six week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavioral support through our project reward program with director/trainer Ashley Reum.
